Gennadiy Kurochka, Founder and Managing Partner of CFC Consulting came up with an idea of securing Ukraine's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Having had observed a splendid TV show that held Europe breathless for several days while on his business trip to Helsinki in 2001, upon Gennadiy’s return to Ukraine, he prepared and submitted a proposal to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and National Television Company of Ukraine (NTCU). The proposal included a clear-cut presentation on the benefits of taking part in the contest and all the opportunities for Ukraine in case of victory. A year later Ukraine broadcasted the show live. In 2003, Europe enjoyed Ukraine’s debut entry at the contest in Riga, Latvia.
In early 2004, CFC Consulting in cooperation with the NTCU selected Ruslana. CFC consultants worked out and then implemented Ruslana's European PR and marketing strategy that led to her stunning victory at the ESC in Istanbul, Turkey. A non-standard approach to the relations with the European mass media in combination with a fabulous show on stage and aggressive and innovative PR played a decisive role in the victory of the Ukrainian entry.

World Music Awards are annually presented to the world’s top selling recording artists in the various music categories and to the best selling artists of the year from each of the major record buying countries.
CFC Entertainment consultants have been working with the management team of the World Music Awards since 2004 and have contributed to promoting it internationally. In 2005-2006 CFC Consulting has become a PR partner of the World Music Awards in Europe and successfully carried out its functions in Los Angeles (US) and London(UK) respectively.
The World Music Awards are often called the fairest and the most objective awards ceremony, as the awards are given to artists according to the sales records of their CDs in a country. The WMA is based purely on sales figures and not on personal opinions as is often the case with most jury-based awards ceremonies. To certify the record sales, the WMA cooperates with the International Federation of Phonographic Industry. It also contributes to fighting against piracy. It encourages fans to buy legal CDs of their favorite singers, thus making their contribution into this singer being awarded at the WMA.

Within the framework of Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) CFC Consulting, CFC Consulting created unprecedented ranking of ESC participating states.
ESCrating.com is an unofficial rating of ESC, created to further boost the popularity of Europe’s №1 annual music event and to spur the competitive spirit among participants. Since its launch in 1956, the ESC family has continued to grow. The contest has gained popularity among viewers and interest in both participating countries and world media. In 2004, the total number of countries taking part in Eurovision grew to 36, which resulted in the introduction of a Semi-Final elimination round. It is this landmark development in ESC’s history that the designers of this new rating have taken as the starting point for ranking participating countries for overall popularity.
ESCrating.com shows the countries with the best contest results over the past five years. ESCrating.com will be updated every year to show each country’s current ranking, as well as its prospects for improvement in upcoming years.
